1. Introduction

Welcome to Suntro. Our mission is to provide pet parents with the best tools for pet care management, daily routines, and health tracking. By using our platform, you agree to these terms.

If you disagree with any part of these terms, you should not access or use the Service. These terms apply to all users who access, browse, or register with Suntro.

2. Account Terms

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account on Suntro.
Accounts are individual. To share pet care responsibilities with family members, you must use the in-app "Clan" or invitation features rather than sharing your personal login credentials.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
Suntro reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms.

3. Subscriptions

Suntro offers both free and premium plans. Premium features are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis via in-app subscription.

Billing and Cancellation

Cancel your subscription at any time through your device settings.
You will maintain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.
Suntro reserves the right to change plan prices with at least 30 days notice to all affected users.

4. Privacy Policy

Your data is handled strictly according to our Privacy Policy. We believe in transparency and pet data security.

We collect only the data necessary to provide and improve our services.
Pet health data is stored securely and is never sold to third parties.
You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

5. User Conduct

To maintain a safe environment for all pet parents, you agree to the following conduct rules:

No misuse of the platform or interference with its technical operations.
No attempting to access other users' accounts or data.
No uploading of harmful, offensive, or malicious content.
No use of the Service for any unlawful activities.
Suntro reserves the right to terminate access for any user who violates these conduct standards.

6. Liability

While we strive to provide the best tools, it is important to understand the following limitations:

All pet care suggestions, reminders, and health insights provided by Suntro are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Suntro is not liable for decisions made based on app information. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, mascot designs, and software associated with Suntro are the exclusive property of Suntro. They may not be copied, reproduced, modified, or redistributed without our prior written permission.

Your use of the Service does not grant you any ownership rights to our intellectual property.

8. Modifications to the Service and Pricing

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We may also adjust the pricing of our Premium subscriptions. If we change our prices, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice to all active subscribers.

9. Refund Policy

All subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed securely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). Because Suntro does not process these transactions directly, we cannot issue refunds. Any refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google and are subject to their respective refund policies.

10. Automated Routines and Insights Disclaimer

Any pet care routines, schedules, or templates generated automatically within the app are strictly for organizational and convenience purposes. They are not tailored medical advice and do not replace the judgment of a certified veterinarian.

11. Indemnification & Force Majeure

You agree to indemnify and hold Suntro harmless from any claims, damages, or legal fees arising out of your misuse of the platform or your violation of these Terms.

Furthermore, Suntro shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including server outages, third-party API failures, or natural disasters).

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or dispute arising from your use of Suntro shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Quebec.
